Sticking To A Routine With Driven By Dre

Sticking To A Routine With Driven By Dre

Defining your goals is the first step to making them happen. But here’s the thing: Your goals are doomed to fail without the systems to support them.

And no, I’m not talking about systems in your business, like Dubsado or ClickUp. I’m talking about the systems that actually bring a goal to life: Business coaching, routine, market research, hiring a Virtual Assistant…the list goes on! Systems like these are the scaffolding that’ll make your goals a reality.

My friend Andrea Locke, fitness trainer extraordinaire & owner of Driven Studio, is here to give you an iron-clad routine. Keep reading for Andrea's tips for thriving not only in the gym, but in life and business as well.

Here’s what she has to share:

“Dedicate your time.
Practice time blocking and create boundaries around your schedule. This has been so helpful for me to stay on track through the day. When you work from home, it can feel like the day never ends. When you plan out your day, you can see what's ahead and be realistic about your time.

Dedicate your mind.
It's so tempting to answer an email or click on a notification outside of your working hours! Make sure your phone is set to do not disturb and lock your apps. When you’re scrolling, it may seem like it’s been a minute or two, but it’s actually been ten.

Dedicate your space.
Your wellness activity deserves a special space. When you dedicate an area to one particular activity, your mind is less likely to be distracted. Whether it’s yoga, meditation, or anything in between, find a space in your home you can set apart.

Welcome!

Hi there! Welcome to my free resources page, where I share all kinds of freebies, templates and guides for creative business owners, artists, and entrepreneurs.

If we haven't met yet, hi! I'm Magi. I'm lawyer, educator, photographer, storyteller, traveler, and entrepreneur. My journey has taken her from photographing professional surfers while swimming in some of the world's most epic waves to receiving a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law.

If I'm not photographing a wedding with my husband, Scott, in a remote locale, managing our team of Associate Photographers, or providing legal counsel to creative business owners, then you can probably find me eating an açai bowl, chasing my pup, Arti, around the beach, or watching SVU reruns in our bungalow.

I hope you find these intentionally-crafted resources useful, and if there's anything else I can do for you and your business, please reach out!
